The NWX HiFi clock switch uses an OCXO clock with -120dB@1Hz phase noise and an Allan variance of 8e-13@1s as the reference clock at the HiFi clock level, providing an excellent clock reference source for the entire system.
At the switch level, by using the industrial and operator grade switch chip

The clock module of the NWX uses a -120dB@1Hz and 8e-13@1s 10MHz OCXO as the reference clock and a -85dB@1Hz and 1e-11@1s 50MHz OCXO as the VCO separately. The VCO clock and the 10MHz reference clock play a role of 1 + 1 > 2, making the entire machine achieve extremely high clock accuracy whether it is supplying the 10MHz clock signal externally and 25MHz clock signal internally.
* Inside NWX, there is only one clock module. The pictures are only use to show dual OCXO clock.

NWX internally has two same switchs. By using the industrial and operator grade switch chipset, NWX was designed as a fully independent port switch. Each SFP port has independnt linear power supply. Each RJ45 port is designed with a independent PHY chip, independent linear power supply and independent clock. This minimize NWX's noise floor and maximize the clock impact.
